Are you a citizen from a non-EU country? Are you between 18 and 59 years of age? Are you unemployed, looking for a first job or working in very precarious conditions?

MILE can help you in developing your knowledge and skills and in looking for a job. Also, MILE organises training courses in various fields (food, IT, caregiving, etc.) and, for those successfully completed the courses, a paid work placement in a local company in Milan, Viladecans/Barcelona, Innsbruck, Athens and Patras.

INNSBRUCK

In Milan the first round of training is closed  (see the flyer here). The training was carried out in the food and IT sectors, as well as on the Italian language, on how to look for a job, on the rules and organisation of the Italian labour market (types of contracts, etc.) as well as and on the soft skills needed for the labour market (communication, team work, gender equality, etc.). Participants were 17 non-EU citizens (migrants, refugees and asylum seekers) coming from Mexico, Cameroon, Syria, Morocco, Mali, Guinea, Tunisia, Nigeria, Senegal, Ecuador and Egypt, between 20 and 50 years of age, with 70% of them under 35. Also, 58% of them were men.

In Viladecans applications are open for the training on job-seeking (how to look for a job, also via IT tools) and the soft skills needed for the labour market (see flyer here).

In Innsbruck applications for the 1st round of training are closed (see flyer here). The group of 33 participants from 13 non-UE countries is ready to kick off. The training will focus on the German language, IT-skills for work, labour market orientation, as well as information about local labour laws and career counselling sessions.
Applications are open for the 2nd round of training from September onwards.
